Understanding forgiveness.
For the coming few months we are inviting you to participate in the Subject-Object Interview, free of charge. The purpose is to discuss the topic of forgiveness and understand what it means for people that are on different personal development paths.
The full interview will take roughly 90 minutes. You will spend the first 45 minutes choosing 1 or 2 out of 5 potential prompts (e.g., torn, angry, success, moved), talking about what these prompts mean to you. For the second 45 minutes, you will talk about an experience you had with “forgiveness”. It might be an experience where you want to forgive someone, but you can’t; an experience where you forgave someone; or an experience where forgiveness might be something you are considering. It needs to be either a recent experience or an experience that holds significant meaning for you.
During the interview, a trained interviewer will be present to guide you with questions that aim at understanding how you make meaning of your experiences.
The interview will be audio recorded and transcribed because a reliable SOI scorer will need to assess it. No personal identifying information (e.g., names) will be transcribed.
What will you get?
Within a month after your interview, you will receive a report that explains where you are on your personal adult development journey. You will understand what your current limitations might be and what you can focus on to overcome them. In time, we will start publicizing our findings, in short chunks, in order to keep the conversation going. We invite you to keep an eye on our website and participate in the open conversation that will take place, as a result.
